The Museum of Rural Life "Michele Russo" Arts, Crafts and Traditions, is an institution open to the public since 1995.


Includes about 3000 objects, instruments, tools and artifacts from the site of Vesuvius and the province of Naples, on the rural culture refers to a historical period before the introduction of agricultural machinery on the cultivated field.


The museum, besides preserving the memory related to rural society by preserving and making available to the public testimony "material" and "assets" of the rural world, has always turned its attention to the scope and planning workshop, with actions designed to make available to teachers and students of schools of different types and levels, cultural offer that went to meet their training needs.


With experience gained over 15 years, from 2009 began to conduct development programs museum for students, for adults and culturally motivated users, broadening and strengthening its local presence through the launch of projects that aim to revise the exhibition concept and communication of the collection.
